SO, WHY DESIGN?

Design has always been an important part of my life as an artist,
and as an artist is exactly how I approach my apsirations towards
becoming a great designer across the wide variety of applications.
I approach design as an artist because I think having an artisticly
creative eye for understanding design is a huge advantage. It is
reasonable to say that being a designer in itself is quite artistic indeed;
however, I feel that being a true artist takes a certain degree of raw
irrationality, or an even balance of parts ignorance and instruction.
What I truly love about design is that it is seemingly so well organized,
but there is always a subtle element of chaos that I find so compelling.
The design process is simply controlling this chaos, and as an artist
I really find the experimentation of finding solutions to controlling
the void pretty fun and exciting. It is a challenge I'm up to!
